Ravenous / Writings / Dust Bunny Dance

I used to love dust bunnies... the mythical kind, not the real kind. The grey fuffs with bunny ears.

Dust Bunny Dance

Dust bunnies hopping to and fro,
Dancing in the moonlight’s glow,
Whispering dreams to sleeping heads,
While brethren flow from under beds.
Little dust poofs jumping in the air,
While slumbering folk are unaware.
Midnight passes and still they dance,
Braiding sweet dreams as they prance.
When sunlight shines under the door,
The dust bunnies skitter across the floor.
They huddle together beneath the bed,
‘Till night returns and light has fled.
